Cultivating our Capital City
In our ever-changing market, new developments and businesses are committing to place their roots in Raleigh. Seemingly every day, we have announcements of new building projects, companies, or restaurants. Since October 2017, Wake County Economic Development reported that 60 companies have expanded within our market. We are fortunate and excited to be a part of such a thriving and rewarding region.
Join us on Sept. 6 as the Young Professionals Network takes a closer look at what makes business entrepreneurs, developers, and the state want to invest in large projects here in our city rather than anywhere else in the U.S. You will hear from a panel of experts in the private, public, and retail/restaurant sectors. Each is involved directly with current or future projects.
- Michael Haley, executive director, Wake County Economic Development, moderator
- Ryan Blair, vice president, development and acquisitions, Heritage Properties
- Niall Hanley, owner, Hibernian Hospitality
- Bill King, senior vice president, planning and development, Downtown Raleigh Alliance
