Forum Explores Entrepreneurship and Innovation across the Triangle

The Economic Development Forum highlights the growing attraction of Wake County and the Triangle as a major center for business. This year’s forum will feature Jeff Hoffman, co-founder of Priceline.com and serial entrepreneur. Hoffman will provide a global perspective on why it’s important to foster and support entrepreneurial ecosystems, as well as offer a framework for Raleigh, Wake County, and the Triangle to spur even more startups, entrepreneurs, innovators, and new jobs. 



Hoffman serves on the global board of directors for Global Entrepreneurship Week and the U.S. State Department’s GIST program (Global Innovation through Science and Technology), as well as supports the White House, the United Nations, and similar organizations on global economic growth initiatives focused on entrepreneurship and innovation. During his keynote, Hoffman will address the Triangle’s role in the “venture economy,” how we compare against other startup hubs across the globe, what we’re currently doing as a region to spur innovation, and how we can continue to best support our innovation economy.
