Event Description:

$10 for employees of member firms;
$25 per non-member

Interested in capitalizing on business opportunities offered through supplier diversity channels? Certification as a small, minority-owned, or women-owned company is an excellent tool for growing your business and is required for participation in most supplier diversity programs. Speakers from a variety of certifying organizations will discuss what is required to qualify for certification, what to expect during the certification process, and how to pursue business opportunities once certified.

Panelists include representatives from:

  • Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council
  • Small Business Technology Development Center
  • Office for Historically Underutilized Businesses
  • Women’s Business Center/North Carolina Institute for Minority Economic Development
Moderator: Jennifer Dunleavy, Accuro
 
A representative from SAS will also be on hand to share information about their Supplier Diversity process and working with certified businesses.
