The past year has prompted preparing for the future in ways that many of us never thought about before. That makes us wonder – what does the future of work look like? From networking, working in the office, to even new opportunities that we’ve never thought of before, the future of work is changing in real time. Here’s what we mean:
Networking: As businesses have adapted to the new reality of remote work brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, employees have adapted social behaviors that enable us to stay in touch and develop new relationships with coworkers, partners, customers, and potential clients.
Working in the office: Some companies are already planning to shift to flexible workspaces after positive experiences with remote work during the pandemic, a move that will reduce the overall space they need and bring fewer workers into offices each day.
New opportunities: In the post-pandemic climate, you can translate your skills to new niches, develop your abilities to tackle new challenges, and build connections that will benefit your career. Each of us can find new opportunities as our companies focus on recovering revenue, rebuilding operations, rethinking the organization, and accelerating the adoption of digital solutions.
