This year, we are pleased to announce our program includes a keynote presentation from Dr. Jose Cabanas, chief medical director for Wake County EMS. Dr. Cabanas will discuss numerous topics including; the challenges our First Responders faced during the pandemic, new and innovative ways our emergency services are tackling community issues, and their important role in our society. Following the keynote, several awards will be presented to local heroes thanking them for their outstanding service and commitment to our community. See the Friends of First Responders recipients. The program will also feature other notable leaders who will share their appreciation for our first responders after a challenging year.
