Our speaker this month will be Laura Gwyn, Principal and Managing Director at Perkins&Will. An architect, strategist, and mentor, she is known for her 360-degree perspective—gained from her experience in roles as architect, construction manager, and owner representative. Laura leads design teams to achieve singular project visions. Grounded by expertise in health and wellness and motivated by the dynamic nature of architecture, she applies a high level of community care to 21st century challenges. Laura is also a member of the Perkins&Will Internal Practice Delivery Board through which she advises on firmwide project execution and delivery. She is a board member for the Raleigh Chamber and the Raleigh Chapter of Association of Medical Facilities Professionals and is an active AIA speaker on career development and sustainability.
