Explore the Impact Investment can have on Communities

Opportunity Zones represent a breakthrough approach to community development. The goal of OZ’s are to attract and spur investments in economically distressed communities. Presently, Wake County has 13 census tracts and leaders are hoping this tool can create investments that can be transformative.

Wake County Economic Development and Innovate Raleigh are partnering to bring you this virtual forum on Opportunity Zones. At this important forum, we will look at the capital investment potential of opportunity zones for investors and entrepreneurs, and the transformative power of that investment on negative social conditions for communities in and near the zones. We will hear about the latest tax benefits from local experts and about plans for the future from our economic development leaders.
