Navigating Mental Health for Young Professionals: Tools & Strategies Supported by Your Leaders
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and it has been observed in the U.S. since 1949. The Raleigh Chamber Young Professionals Network joins the national movement to raise awareness about the state of mental health for future leaders and how they are demanding a level of vulnerability that’s new, uncomfortable, and necessary in the workplace. Together, we will explore the landscape of mental health in the Triangle and how a mental health facility can provide a safe space for young professionals in our community.
Join us to learn how to navigate a constantly ongoing environment of business operations, deadlines, and new workloads. You will receive tips on advocating for yourself and attaining work-life balance to support your mental well-being. We want this program to encourage open conversation and approaches for organizations to support mental health while helping you create productive conversations across generations going forward.
During the month of May, we will be using the hashtag #ypnforselfcare on social media as it’s an opportunity for Young Professionals to come together and remember the inherent value we each hold.
Speakers Include:
Alyson Clayton, SVP, HR at Relay
Dr. Micah Krempasky, Chief Medical Officer, Mental Health at WakeMed Health & Hospitals
