This was the first time I actually really enjoyed taking a BLS class all because of our instructor Latonya! She was absolutely amazing! Her energy, the way she made us all feel like a team and the way she made us take it seriously was top notch! I will make sure I get her again for renewals! The receptionist was nice too! Overall great experience!

I am waiting for the BLS class I signed up to to start. It's now 15 minutes after the class was supposed to begin, and the ACLS class is going on still.
I spoke with the manager, Keisha who said it's not a big deal that it's starting so late, but because this is a for profit venture I would have expected this to be much better run.
I'm basically missing work to hear an instructor say, oh no I bet you broke some ribs, and taking time from actual patient care right now while I watch others train.
In the hospital setting it makes sense but to pay money for this for convenience is ridiculous.
The manager herself really could have cared less as well.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Beth -
I am so sorry that you felt our office staff did not care about your concerns about the class start time. I feel there was a misunderstanding in how you perceived Kisha as she heard your concern, understood completely, and tried to find a solution by sending another instructor into the classroom to assist the lead instructor. Kisha also helped you by printing off your BLS certificate of completion which is required by all students to have with them before entering the Heartcode BLS skills session. I only state the above to help you see that our staff does in fact care about our client's experience.
Although an apology does not fix the delayed start time - I truly apologize. In an effort to prevent future late starts to a class I will be speaking with the instructor to see if there were any factors that could have been controlled on our end that would have prevented the delay.
Again, I hate that your experience was not the best and if there is anything I can do to make this right with you, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

They do not give you your cpr card the same day. I was not told that and am upset as here it is 3 days later and no email as that is the way you get it. I paid $20 extra for book and you absolutely do not need it. The instructor was animated and informative but very quick paced and a little impatient

We understand your frustration and it is our Training Center policy to issue eCards within 24 hours or the next business day, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Your course was held on Friday, April 12th and was scheduled from 2pm - 6pm, after checking the April 12th class paperwork, the class ended around 5:30pm after our office closed. We issued your eCard Monday, April 15th at 10:35am shortly after we opened. The issuing of eCards is noted on multiple wall signage where the class was held and is listed in the Terms and Agreements that must be agreed upon before the registration can be processed. Since reading your Yelp review we have added additional notifications about our policy of issuing of eCards for participants taking our courses to help address this concern. Lastly, as a Training Center for the American Heart Association (AHA) we must follow the guidelines set forth by the AHA in the AHA Program Administration Manual in regards to participants having the BLS Providers Manual for the course.
We appreciate you taking the time to voice your concerns as it allows us to see where we can improve as a AHA Training Center so we can continue to provide excellent CPR training and customer service.

I took BLS and PALS at CPR Consultants and I was very impressed. My PALS class was taught by Paul (the owner). He was very knowledgeable and made the class fly by. His laid back approach made the class much less stressful and I felt like I truly mastered the material. Kisha the officer manager was also very helpful and friendly.
Not only did I appreciate the class but the coffee and snacks were also a nice touch. It's also nice that each class only takes one day to complete (ACLS and PALS are taught over two day elsewhere).
If you need to complete BLS, PALS or ACLS I highly recommend CPR Consultants.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
