Fusion Eye Care

This place got my progressive lenses prescription correct whereas my last place did not. They also gave me the option to have less blur on the sides. My previous dr told me that with my (slight) astigmatism I could no longer wear contacts anymore. This dr told me of course I can. He knows his stuff but I found him to be a bit condescending and could be friendlier. I mean, I'm spending a lot of money here. The guy who assisted me in the waiting area to fit me was great, very friendly and explained everything well. Scheduling got me messed up as they misunderstood me and thought I wanted just a consultation that day but were able to fit me in anyway. Will definitely return.

Lately I noticed my night vision was really not as clear as it should be. I contacted the VA who referred me to Fusion Eye which is located close to me. Its a really nice practice that has multiple options in eyewear. After a short wait I had my vision exam, where I was told one eye can see distance and the other eye is fine. In the past during pregnancy I needed lenses for asigmatism so I knew that it was issue years ago so now at 53 its glasses and to top it off my dentist says I need braces..BTW Fusion also has a Dental practice at this location. I will be spending quite a bit of time here.

I've been coming to Fusion for about 5 years maybe more and they are the best. Unfortunately my insurance changed and I can't go there anymore. The one star review about the doctor being drunk and the 5 star views being fake is false. I left a 5 star review on google myself a few years ago and it certainly was not fake as she said. I put mine up because this place was so professional and go over and above for their clients. They are a breath of fresh air. It is actually her comment that is most likely fake. What a shame people go after good and innocent people these days.

I would recommend Fusion Eye Care wholeheartedly. Wonderful staff, thorough eye exam. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the service at lenscrafters, myeyedr before this but it truly is different.

The prices are higher for sure so be wary of that if you need anything more than standard lenses. But I doubt they could compete with luxottica-owned offices or big chains.

I'll probably update when I get my glasses if the quality is better than lenscrafters (who has really dropped the ball recently).

The office it self is very fancy and customer service is over the top.
The doctor is very gentle and very polite ! Even though going to the eye doctor isn't normally an easy experience! I did not feel any discomfort.
He is a professional!

the doctor is unprofessional and really rude, he got wrong of the my prescription at least 3 times and i really doubt the 5 star is the fake 5 star, is what the India use some IT cheating tools to make it fake five star. please don't go there. $200+ wasted. do not trust this drunk and inpatient unprofessional doctor.

Recently transferred over here from another practice and this place is awesome! First off the space is very nice and they carry a decent amount of actual fashionable eyewear. All of the employees are overtly kind and I was impressed with their level of service.

Dr. Bassiri is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with. They have state of the art equipment and we're quick and efficient. I feel fully confident that they will be able to help me out with all of my optometry needs.

I'm having them put some lenses in some new Matsuda's that I ordered and I'll edit this review once they're in.

What a scam. I initially gave this location 5 stars but I am greatly disappointed about the integrity of their pricing and policies. I do not have insurance and spent nearly $500 out of pocket to get glasses. I was NOT informed I would need to come back in 30 days if I wanted contacts lenses. They insisted I have to pay another $200 to get my eyes checked again even though I was just in 3 months the ago! I understand a contact appointment is required but I am not okay with paying for the same service twice. They would not offer the contact appointment only and will NOT be getting my business again. Using a "office policy" to rip people off. It has nothing to do with eye health $$$

I can say with complete honesty that Fusion is a doctor's office in which I don't mind sitting. It is (almost) disappointing that I only visit Dr. Bassiri and his team once a year for my annual exam - everyone in the office displays a level of professionalism and friendliness that is both rare and refreshing.

Even though I only sit in his exam room once a year, Dr. Bassiri has never failed to remember my name, my occupation, and details from our last conversation. Year after year, I could not be more pleased with my experience here.

Unfortunately, my experience with Fusion Eye Care was so unpleasant, I feel I should provide some feedback for those of you looking for a new provider. Honestly, if I could give a zero star rating, I would.

There were many red flags here but the main issue was the customer service provided by Dr. Bassiri and his receptionist, Jessica.

For starters, I was a new patient looking for long term eye care in the area and was excited to have finally made an eye appointment. I decided to go with Fusion because the ratings here were great my first visit was fine. I even ordered prescription eye glasses and Dr. Bassiri referred me to Duke immediately, as a cyst was found in my eye exam. When I asked Dr. Bassiri to send me the images of the exam (for a second opinion), he made it very difficult but finally sent to me via text. I ended up going to Duke and luckily, my cyst was benign.

A few months later Fusion called me nonstop to schedule a follow up appointment. I called back and Jessica scheduled me for the following week. I had to take off work to come to the appointment. When I showed up, she had no record of a scheduled appointment for that day or the near future... she did not attempt to help resolve the issue. She basically allowed me to walk out when I explained I was a fairly new patient and it would be best to call Dr. Bassiri because I figured he wouldn't want a new patient to walk out that easily... I kindly told Jessica that I wanted to continue my eye care at Fusion and I had taken time off work to come to the appointment, I really didn't make a fuss.

I finally reached out to Dr. Bassiri directly and he convinced me to come back. I only agreed because I was in need of contact lenses and didn't want to go through the new client process elsewhere. Jessica rescheduled me for that upcoming Saturday. Something came up the day before so I kindly asked to reschedule the appointment for the following Saturday....

Keep in mind, the reason , I had to make this separate appointment was because they cancelled on ME in the first place...

Long story short, instead of working with me, Dr. Bassiri had Jessica email me a letter stating that due to my non-emergency cancellation, I had been dismissed from the practice!!!
