The Armstrong

Probably the worst moving experience of my life (and I've moved a lot!). Ben from sales was nice, but as others have said once they had our money the tone changed. It took multiple follow-ups to get answers to questions. Lots of promises to make things right, but zero follow through with actually doing so. Customer service from United itself was cable-company bad.

Worst of all, our shipment was delivered a week+ late. Armstrong failed to notify us that our shipment would be late - we had to call them to find out there would be a week+ delay. When our shipment did arrive, it was in horrible condition with more than 50% of our boxes badly crushed, much of our furniture damaged, furniture filthy - and worst off all - blood on some of the boxes. (see photos) GROSS! They also used a smaller truck to deliver than promised and decided that after making two trips, they just weren't going to deliver any more items. (leaving us rug-less)

When it came time to pay up on their delay penalty, they shorted us by two days claiming that their failure to deliver a complete shipment on a properly sized truck as contracted. Avoid these guys - there are better, more honest options out there.

We used Armstrong Relocation to move from NC to FL this past summer. We set up the contract with local team based on home contents, our needs and their required/must include services. It was a binding contract. On a positive note, the driver and his team were very good - clearly communicated pickup and drop off dates/times, handled our contents with care and were pleasant during the loading/unloading process. The negative note was that one of the "required" services they built into the contract (shuttle/Aux service) was not actually used and this was nearly one-third of the moving contract cost! I reported that the service was not used and was originally told that since it was not used, it would be refunded. But then this was "corrected" and was told it is non-refundable since it was a binding contract. I stated that Armstrong were the ones that required this expensive service but then didn't use it. To me, the optics of the situation looks like I was charged for a service (a very expensive one) that I did not need. I will not use or recommend Armstrong Relocation based on this experience and their business practices.

We had a great relocation experience with the company, and the movers' team in particular. In fact, their attention to detail, and the care with which they handled our belongings stands out in our minds. I would definitely request the team once again, should I ever needed to move (hopefully not, though!).

Do not hire them. After my staircase and walls were damaged by a careless and lying driver's crew, the compensation was $250 which was ridiculous.

The team we had was awesome. Jason was very informative when he came out to the house and was quick to respond to follow up questions. Beth got in touch several times to make sure everything was okay. Darrian and his crew did an awesome job packing and unpacking and everything arrived intact. They were also extremely personable. Would definitely use them again!

Aweful experience. They used the company's money I work for and few months later they mailed their business check covering our sales orders. Yeah, the amount matched but..... that's not the point right?
I called to ask which orders this Armstrong's business check should cover our orders? Chris (accounting dpt.) said that I should be able to figure it out! bad bad bad... He didnt appreciate the business we brought to them. After that, I have to "play" assumming my clients paid in full and no one short pay. If you pretend to do business with them; be aware that they will use your money and send their business checks months after. At your own risk.

Excellent communication from the move coordinator, the driver was friendly but got everything done that was needed, the crew had lots of experience and knew what to do, and overall things were done quickly and effectively.

These guys moved my entire house and office from California to North Carolina.

They are extremely fast efficient and professional.

I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very professional and great price! Have used them twice now and would highly recommend! I have moved a LOT and by far they are the best around!
