Keep Dorothea Dix Park Beautiful and Connect with Other YPN Members

Our nation’s most exciting park project is taking shape right here in Raleigh. Join us to volunteer for a few hours to ensure that Dorothea Dix Park remains beautiful.

You will get to meet or reconnect with other YPN members while volunteering your time in the park. We anticipate 100 members will be there. Half will mulch and half will remove invasive plant species from the park.

The City of Raleigh will provide gloves, tools, bug spray, water, and snacks. Members should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (preferably boots). Members are also encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle to fill up throughout the service day.

Members will park near the soccer fields and check in before we learn a quick history and overview of the park.

Register to be a volunteer at Dix Park. This form must be completed as well as registration through the Chamber below.
