Learn about the Challenges Facing Some Members of Our Community

Join other YPN members and experience a poverty simulation. You will learn firsthand how financial difficulties place major challenges on community members in Raleigh who are under-resourced.

In addition to the simulation, you will learn how YPN members can engage themselves actively in local nonprofits that support those in our community that are displaced or under-resourced.

You also will hear from Danya Perry, director of diversity, equity & inclusivity for the Raleigh Chamber, who will discuss ways that you can become more engaged in efforts to promote DEI in the workforce and workplace.
