Regional Transportation Alliance BRT Opportunity Series
In concert with the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce
and The Chamber For a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro

The RTA BRT Opportunity Series event will highlight opportunities to advance bus rapid transit across our region and accelerate a variety of community goals. Guest speakers will share information about BRT projects from across North America, including Richmond, Va. and Montgomery County, Md., and local officials will discuss enhanced transit and BRT progress in our market. 

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Ellen Reckhow, Durham County Commissioner and GoTriangle chair
  • Dr. Stelfanie Williams, Duke University
  • Carrie Rose Pace, Greater Richmond (Va.) Transit Company
  • Corey Pitts, Montgomery County (Md.) Department of Transportation
  • Matt Cecil, Chapel Hill Transit
  • Mila Vega, GoRaleigh
  • Julie White, NCDOT deputy secretary for multimodal transportation
  • Geoff Lang, MetLife, RTA 2019 chair

No cost to attend, but you must register in advance. All RTA and non-RTA members are invited to attend.
