Safety and Security for Businesses on the New Bern Avenue Bus Rapid Transit Route With changes bringing BRT to New Bern Avenue, what resources are available to ensure your success? Join other small business owners for a panel discussion around safety and security for your small business. You’ll hear from a panel with representatives from the Raleigh Police Department’s Southeast District, Oak City Cares, the City of Raleigh’s ACORNS program, and the City’s Vision Zero initiative to end serious injuries and fatalities along its transportation network. Panel topics will include safety improvements coming to New Bern Avenue, plans for crime reduction, and compassionate responses to those in crisis.
