The Economic Mobility Index provides valuable insights into the distribution of opportunities, access to resources, and representation levels with regards to demographics. This data-driven approach aims to facilitate evidence-based decision-making, identify systemic barriers, and target interventions that could lead to sustainable and inclusive economic growth. The Raleigh metro area performed well in the leadership representation, economic opportunity, and education subindexes. However, Raleigh did not perform as well in the economic security metrics. Overall, Raleigh ranked 9th of 155 total metros.
