Our program includes a keynote presentation from North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Secretary Eddie M. Buffaloe, Jr. and awards to heroes from each department for outstanding service in the previous year. Invitations are extended to representatives from Wake County Emergency Medical Services, the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, N.C. Highway Patrol, the Raleigh-Wake County Emergency Communications Center, the City of Raleigh Fire Department, the City of Raleigh Police Department, Wake County Emergency Management and State Capitol Police. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit The 200 Club of Wake County, a nonprofit that provides financial help for the spouses and children of local first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
