Meet Sepi Saidi, the president and CEO of SEPI Engineering & Construction, for a conversation at our next Coffee with Leaders. Saidi came to the United States as a teen in the 1970s from Iran. After earning two degrees from NC State, one in civil engineering and one in biological and agricultural engineering, Saidi worked her way up the ladder at the North Carolina Department of Transportation. In 2001, she decided to go off on her own, founding SEPI Engineering. Her innovative ideas grew the company and positioned it to offer a wider range of engineering services. She will share the story of how she grew her company to where it is today. The Triangle Business Journal selected Saidi as the 2018 Businessperson of the Year. In 2009, she was the chair of our Board of Directors. SEPI Engineering & Construction is a fully-integrated engineering and design firm focused on innovation, sustainability, and excellence. The company provides a wide range of engineering, planning, environmental, and construction management services in many functional areas.
