David Meeker will be the speaker at this upcoming event. A Raleigh native, David founded Carpenter Development and partnered with Trophy Brewing in 2008. He has made every mistake in the world, lived to tell about it, and has invaluable development experience because of that. David is on the Board of the Raleigh Chamber, Downtown Raleigh Alliance, Common Cause NC, Artspace, and the Dogwood Bank Advisory Board. He is also on the Capital Campaign Committee for Healing Transitions, a detox and recovery center on Dix Park. David was previously on the Board of Dix Park, North Carolinians for Redistricting Reform, and Raleigh City Museum. David lives with his wife Kimberlie and two children in Downtown Raleigh where he was an avid runner for years, completing 30 marathons including 10 Boston Marathons in a row - 9 of which he qualified for and ran in person and the 10th that didn’t require a qualifying time due to the pandemic.
