Wake County’s One Water Initiative Water is key for economic development, sustainability, and the quality of life that continues to attract businesses and individuals to Wake County. The county is undergoing the 50-year One Water Plan initiative that integrates all water planning (water supply, wastewater treatment, stormwater and flood management, and groundwater protection) with County and municipal development and transportation planning. The first two years of the plan development focused on developing a baseline assessment of water resources that was used to inform draft strategies. As the County moves into the next phase of plan development, the County is requesting input on proposed strategies from the business community and is seeking opportunities to strengthen partnerships in future water resource projects and initiatives that support a resilient and sustainable water supply for all of Wake County. Join this interactive upskilling event as part of the Greater Raleigh Chamber’s Business Sustainability Roundtable to provide feedback to the County’s plan.
