For our February Program, the YPN Community Engagement Task Force has partnered with a local nonprofit to highlight the work they are doing in our community. Attendees will hear from Catherine Amos, Volunteer and Community Coordinator for the Green Chair Project. The Green Chair Project was founded in 2010 and provides essential home furnishings to families and individuals overcoming homelessness, crisis, or disaster, whose fresh start in stable housing is stalled by a lack of resources to make their house a home. Through community donations and volunteer efforts, The Green Chair Project collects and redistributes furniture, household items, and other necessities, empowering people to create stable and supportive living environments.
