	&lt;li&gt;Travel and Tourism
	&lt;ul&gt;
		&lt;li&gt;With a three-building downtown convention center, four professional sports teams, and over 40 resorts in the Greater Phoenix region, Phoenix has strategically leveraged its tourism assets. Attendees will learn the history of these assets, the funding tools that power them, and the influence they have on the rest of the region&amp;rsquo;s economy.&lt;/li&gt;

	&lt;li&gt;Poly-Centric Regionalism
	&lt;ul&gt;
		&lt;li&gt;The greater Phoenix region is the 11th largest metro in the country, and Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the nation. With 22 municipalities, this region&amp;rsquo;s growth has spread. Learn the challenges and successes this type of growth can present!&lt;/li&gt;

	&lt;li&gt;Arizona State University (ASU) Impact
	&lt;ul&gt;
		&lt;li&gt;Attendees will hear how one university is embedded in every aspect of economic development across an entire metro. ASU is the largest public university in the U.S. and is an active participant in its success.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;/ul&gt;

Start the conference a day early with a relaxing evening on Lake Saguaro. This optional add-on features a private cruise for our group, offering time to unwind, connect with fellow attendees, and enjoy the desert sunset from the water. Your excursion fee includes round-trip transportation, dinner, and a complimentary drink.&lt;br /&gt;

American Airlines and Southwest Airlines are the only two carrier options for a direct flight from Raleigh-Durham International Airport.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
