Leadership Raleigh

Celebrating 55 years of cultivating community leaders, Leadership Raleigh stands as one of the nation’s longest-standing leadership programs. This signature ten-month experience invites around 100 leaders (across two cohorts) to engage deeply with our region through presentations, collaborative panels, immersive behind-the-scenes tours, and civic involvement.

Participants learn firsthand from regional business executives, elected officials, and non-profit leaders, gaining an in-depth understanding of our community’s challenges and opportunities in various areas. They also collaborate on team-based service projects that contribute tangible, meaningful impact across the Triangle.

Though the application period is currently closed, the program looks forward to welcoming a new cohort when applications reopen in Spring 2026.

At this annual luncheon, you will hear updates on priorities and policies from the Chair of the Wake County Board of Commissioners, Don Mial (confirmed), and the Mayor of the City of Raleigh. Following their addresses, they will be joined by the City Manager of the City of Raleigh, Marchell Adams-David (confirmed), and County Manager, David Ellis (confirmed) for an audience Q&A.

Give Back at Our Bi-Annual Community Involvement Day

Gather with your fellow Young Professionals Network (YPN) members for a morning of service, followed by an optional lunch outing!

For this Community Involvement Day, we will be partnering with Meals on Wheels to deliver hot meals to our community's homebound seniors. We will gather for a quick training session at the Meals on Wheels Downtown Raleigh location, then divide and conquer in groups of 4 to deliver meals to 50 homes in the area! Once all meals are delivered, we will reconvene at the Meals on Wheels location to debrief, then head to lunch! This will be a meaningful opportunity to interact with valuable members of our community who rely on these resources.
