Professionally trained at the International College of Hotel Management in Adelaide, Australia, and a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School of Arts, she built an international hospitality career spanning Australia, London, Sri Lanka, Orlando, and Raleigh, including work at the Umstead Hotel and Spa and the Sheraton. After becoming a mother of three, Alaksha founded Alaksha&amp;rsquo;s Custom Catering in 2011 and later expanded her culinary vision through Curry in a Hurry, which has grown to include food trucks, brick-and-mortar locations, and innovative smart vending concepts. Deeply committed to giving back, she actively supports local charities and educational initiatives, drawing inspiration from her grandfather&amp;rsquo;s lifelong encouragement and using food as a way to serve and connect with her community.&lt;br /&gt;
