I used the North Raleigh location. All my experiences have been good. Medina has been my hygienist for years and has done a great job.

I had not had any problems with this facility until Jan.30 @ 4pm IN THE ROSEBORO LOCATION. My 7 year old was schedule for a filling and the dentist showed no patience , nor compassion . She nor assistant would not talk to my son to reassure him of his fears , all she would say is if he not going to cooperate them I am going to have to refer him out. Her her assistant would not even try to encourage my son to cooperate , not to mention he was only making light sounds NO movement so he was not difficult to mange. AGAIN no crying or movements in the seat , you would have not even known he was crying if you did not see his tears. I asked how she managed children his age before receiving fillings for the first time and she replied all children are different in a raised voice projecting agitation . When finished she looked at me briefly said none-thing else needed to be done, walked out . my son had spit going down his face and tears down his face quietly and she offered no tissue, nor said good bye or tried to comfort him . They did not even give him a toy or say anything encouraging to him , no comment on after care , none thing. I have decided that I will take my children to a pediatric dentist. I also called two minutes later to ask was there anything else I needed to do since he received a shot in the mouth and I received no return call so I guess AFTER CARE is not a priority for my 7 year old who frustrated or offended theM. I am so done with them after this

My family's dentist recently retired and closed his practice, so I decided to give Lane's a go and today was supposed to be my teeth cleaning. I went in and was told they needed to do X-rays, which was fine because I haven't had them done yet this year and there would be a deductible, again, I was fine with that. Once the x-rays were done, I went back to the room they had me in and was told I may not "qualify" for a "normal 6-month cleaning", even though that is what I had scheduled. The dental assistant asked if I had had a tongue ring before and I said yes, over 13 years ago, and she basically shamed me about that and how it changed the bottom of my mouth (like I can go back in time and change that!), then starts to lecture and admonish me about gingivitis, she laid me back in the chair and proceeded to stab my gums all around my mouth and continue to lecture me. She then said she had to have the dentist take a look. A dentist came in and took a look at my x-rays, looked around my mouth and had the assistant make notes. The dentist said the X-rays did not show any cavities but then said I had to get one of my molars capped because of a cavity. I was hoping after all that, I could still just get my cleaning done but NOPE! I was told that I would have to schedule to have that molar capped and also schedule a "gingivitis treatment" done BEFORE I could get my cleaning done. HUH? I'm 37 and have been going to dentist's all my life and have never heard of these "treatments". I even said, "but I just wanted to get my teeth cleaned, that's what I had scheduled". The assistant said that "well, you have to go through the assessment first" (this was not mentioned to me when scheduling). I was then escorted to the front, and she mentioned to the lady at check out what I needed to schedule. As soon as she walked away, I told the nice lady at check out that I did not need to schedule anything as I would not be coming back. I also cancelled my 2 kid's appointments for tomorrow and my husbands for next week. She asked if everything was ok and I just said No. I didn't want to take any frustration out on her.

They obviously are making a money grab and have no interest in honestly gaining new clients. The dental assistant acted rude and superior and felt the need to talk to me like I'm not an adult. Don't waste your time here!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL PRACTICE!
My first visit was just to have my teeth cleaned and checked. I was told that if I had my teeth scanned it would cost me an extra $11.00. So I agreed and paid up front. When the dentist checked my teeth he said I needed a mouth guard (although I have no jaw pain) and that my insurance would pay for it. So I agreed.
I then received a bill for $243.00. And a second bill for $485.00.
I have dental insurance. that does cover mouth guards. I just wanted to get my teeth cleaned!

Four wisdom teeth extracted and a week later i was called a liar to my face by the oral surgeon when I expressed concern for pain and possible infection/dry socket. I raised concern for swelling and he told me I wasn't swollen (who would know my face better than me?)
i was told to increase the mg of ibuprofen by nurses even though I told them I was already taking a lot and it was NOT working and was then told to my face "nobody told you that"

I was treated like a liar when asking for assistance with pain management. I guess a woman has to be in tears screaming for someone to believe she's actually in pain.

Never been so disrespected by a supposed professional and someone who is supposed to be there to help you.

I am a newcomer to Raleigh and North Carolina, and as a newcomer, I needed to find a new dental center that would provide all-inclusive services under one roof so that there would not be a need to go from one location to another to get the needed services. I selected Lane and Associates based on their television advertisements, their reviews and word of mouth. Dr Aziz was my dental champion and from the very first visit I knew that this would be a complete and fulfilling experience. It was, without a doubt! After the initial examination and and a complete explanation of what needed to be done, every treatment and procedure was successful, and today, not only do I have an attractive smile, but I can eat everything I introduce into my mouth. I would highly recommend and commend Lane and Associates and their affiliate professionals, especially Dr Aziz, (Dr H. with a special shout out to "Tina",), the entire hygenic staff (for keeping it clean) and the reception staff (for keeping it moving) and the billing staff (for keeping it real) and everyone involved in the Lane and Associates staff, including those who make sure that everything is stocked, ordered, fulfilled and sanitary on a job well done, first time, every time. To the Lane Family, Thank You for your idea, your scope and for the love and dedication that you have created for the community-at-large for those requiring excellent and exceptional dental care. Whether they know it or not, North Carolina the Raleigh Triangle (etc) communities have Dental Champions: Lane and Associates Family Dentistry.

Oh this is probably going to be a lengthy review as I am going to share the good, the bad and the ugly of my experience with this location in the last 48 hours. So I got a referral from my dentist yesterday and I called this office to schedule an appointment. I did not get the name of the first receptionist that took my call but her customer service skills are not up to par so I kept my cool and asked to speak to her supervisor bc I wanted my questions answered about insurance/payment obligations. William seemed knowledgeable and was kind to break down the possible cost for me to get a root canal, he used terms like worst case scenario when he gave me my quote for the service. He also suggested that I arrive about 15 minutes early for my 2pm appointment that was actually scheduled for the very next day! I felt pretty reassured after talking with William and simply wanted to get the procedure over with.
I will totally own the fact that I was anxious about this appointment but I can tell you that I was keeping myself in check until another poor interaction with a receptionist. I was about 10 minutes early and checked in. I was then asked if I completed my paperwork. I calmly explained that I never received any paperwork as my appointment was just scheduled yesterday and was told to come in a little early. She seemed annoyed that I wasn't provided the paperwork to complete before coming in. I can tell you I then felt pressured to read and complete 7 pages which heightened my anxiety. It took awhile to fill out the intake paperwork and frankly, I prefer having paperwork to complete bc some of the forms didn't fit the screen of my phone and were not very user friendly. I finished the electronic form and let the desk know, at which point I was asked some Covid screening questions and was asked to them sign something without actually being able to see what it was that I was signing, not my preferred way to do business, but that was the least of my worries. After signing, I was waiting for some sense of direction and it was awkward. I felt myself getting teary eyed but went and sat back down bc the staff were not clear in their communication and lacked empathy. After sitting momentarily, I was then called to the back while still softly crying. The hygienist, Jackie, started out by asking if I was in pain or if I was anxious. For a moment I recall thinking, ok she might actually understand. I gained my composure and shared my poor experience with the receptionist two days in a row and that i was anxious. She explained that they needed to do another X-ray bc the image provide by my dentist wasn't good and that they would be more of a cost. Prior to the procedure getting started they brought William back in because the prices were different than what i was provided yesterday.
The dentist, Dr. Curry was good. I did sense that he and Jackie didn't really work well together though. He was patient and kind. He took the time to have me turn around and review the X-rays he had taken with me and discussed possible treatments once he actually got into the tooth. I truly appreciate him taking the time to talk things through with me and he answered my questions. He certainly provided much more comfort to me than Jackie did. I do wish that he had given a little bit more reassurance, something like "we are almost done" or "only a few more minutes" probably would have eased my anxiety. I tried to stay focused on my breathing while they were working in my mouth. Jackie was a bit passive and could have been more attentive. At one point, the Dr. stepped out and Jackie was there one minute and gone the next, being alone without any communication caused me to panic. I felt helpless and stuck. I felt overwhelmed and became emotional. They removed the piece of latex that was across my face and and allowed my mouth to rest. I recall a third person entering the room and them trying to wipe my tears and I swatted them away when they tried to because I had no idea who they were. All staff could do a better job with introducing themselves and showing compassion. There was also another employee that interrupted us and asked Jackie about some sort of equipment.
This was an overall poor experience. I felt like a number and not like a valued patient. I would encourage all of the staff to brush up their customer service skills and remember that dental care creates a lot of anxiety for some people, be kind and compassionate. I don't see myself using the services you of Lane and Associates again in the future.

This office located on Wake Forest Rd has the WORST women working up front! They will all call you separately asking the same questions. They sit there and order uber eats laughing and entertaining each other as if is a social gathering. If you need to call have them TRY to assist you with any information, they want you to look up the information for them instead of them doing their JOBS. They really need to work with them and teach them how to do their JOBS!

Don't let the many locations fool you. Horrible service and follow up! My mother waited over a month to get her bottom dentures. Had her coming back nearly every week.....stalling!!!! And yes, she paid them in full on the 1st visit..
They scheduled me for 2 cleanings back to back when the 2nd visit was to be to get fillings. This was in March I called back as told to schedule another service in June of the same year...this year and was told they no longer accept my insurance!?!? Smh...will nvr go to this location again and will definitely spread the word!!!!
