The Economic Impact of Running

With more than 100 road races a year and over 100 miles of greenway trails, it’s clear that Wake County is a destination for running enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Join us to learn about the positive effect this sport has on our community. Hear from a panel of local athletes, entrepreneurs, and city representatives on the local economic impact and future direction of running for our area.

  • Brent Francese, co-owner and general manager, Runologie Raleigh
  • John Kane, founder and CEO, Race 13.1
  • Kelly Lindsey, Office of Emergency Management and Special Events, City of Raleigh

The panel discussion will be moderated by Leslie Payne, head cross country/track and field coach, Meredith College

RSVP by May 20
