Meet Other YPN Members While Keeping Downtown Raleigh Clean

Volunteers will join Team Downtown Raleigh to pick up litter on the sidewalks and the rights of way, and remove weeds in the street tree grates in the 110-block Business Improvement District. The city provides services to the central 35 blocks in this district, but this cleanup will extend that reach to the entire 110 blocks. This project is important for North Carolina communities to keep litter from polluting urban streams and affecting drinking water downstream.

Volunteers will gather at 9 a.m. at the ground level of the Municipal Building parking deck. Following the project, there will be a post service day lunch at Morgan Street Food Hall beginning at 11:30 a.m.

This is a great way to improve the environment, while connecting with other YPN members. Volunteers must fill out this waiver/media release form and bring it to the Fall Service Day. Register today and help keep our beautiful downtown clean.
